#AtoZChallenge – B is for Blue Jay
This fellow and two others are frequent visitors to our bird feeders and our squirrel bowl. They enjoy the peanuts as much as our squirrels do.

lovely photos. I have been taking some nature photos the last few days… but mainly trees. They stay still longer. LOL. Visiting from A to Z challenge

Welcome, fellow A to Zer! Thank you for stopping by. I took some tree photos on our pup walk this morning. You’re right – they are a lot easier!

Beautiful. Before moving to New Orleans we had a half-acre yard in Baton Rouge. I miss all the wonderful birds . . . but not all the work. 🙂 Welcome to the A to Z Challenge. We did it a couple of years ago and it was great fun. Looking forward to following your adventure through the alphabet!

Oh, this makes me miss living in the Midwest! Where I live in Arizona, I just get lots of house wrens and sparrows that eat EVERYTHING.
Good luck on the A to Z Challenge by the way 🙂

We just had a new bird show up yesterday – house finch with a red head. It took me a while to identify it. He’s really shy. I’m hoping he’ll let me take his picture.

D’aww! We had some finches making a nest just above the back door, but I think my dog going in and out scared them off. I should probably invest in some birdhouses!

Thanks for calling by on the great A to Z adventure .. . . . . We feed the local birds but several of them such as Wood Pigeons, Collar Doves, Pheasants plus the Squirrels will given half a change make a large pile of food vanish rather quickly.
Good luck with the A to Z I hope it goes well it can have its ups and downs at times

Those are some beautiful birds. Haven’t seen many blue jays this year, but we get a cardinal or two from time to time.

I love cardinals. Posting a pic of one of them tomorrow.

We’ve had a rather mild winter in southern Iowa with the robins and blue jays returning early. It’s always interesting to hear the jays call out to one another. Love the pics!
